Can anyone suggest safe places travel during Covid?
Travel during covid
Not the act of moving from place to place, that is the most dangerous.
Most of the places that are safe won't let travelers into their country. It's a good time to take a year off, save some money for the next trip, and have fun planning something for late 2021 or even 2022.
Yeah, international travel is a write-off until mid 2021 at the earliest I would think, possibly later. However, I assume Antarctica is pretty safe at the moment as some countries have it on their travel green list!
To get to Antarctica you'll either have to travel first to Argentina, Chile, the Falklands, New Zealand or Australia. There's also the occasional flight from Cape Town, South Africa. But nowadays it's difficult if not impossible to get to those entry points; and that's not likely to change soon. Keep in mind that Antarctica is best visited during the summer period from November to March. A friend and I have booked a February cruise to the sub-Antarctic islands of Australia and New Zealand. It's increasingly likely the cruise will be cancelled unless the two countries reopen their borders by year's end.
Well, from your bedroom to the Kitchen via the bathroom in your home is currently the safest place to travel for most people. As mentioned above, don't count on all the other countries to let you in. Stay home and wait it out.
Some of the place in the Philippines are already safe to travel.
