Hello...

Firstly is it sad to go alone to Maldives ? ( be honest )

Secondly , end of April - good time to go ? ( I have looked at jan, feb - not paying ££££s )

COVID - rules ?

I don't think it's sad at all.:) I went to the Maldives alone in December 2011 and really enjoyed it; it's actually somewhere I'm considering going back to (alone again) as I had such a lovely time. It was a great chance to relax and have some time to myself. The snorkelling is amazing, if you're into that.

I'm not sure about the weather in April or covid rules I'm afraid.

No worries!:) I stayed at Kurumba which was fantastic and at the time was reasonably priced by Maldives standards. I'd definitely recommend that resort if you can get a good deal.

Going anywhere alone is only sad if you think it is. You’ll meet lots of new interesting people if you reach out by being friendly and strike up conversation. And maybe some lifelong friends. Have a wonderful trip!
