You made me sign-up! Sat here doing exactly the same thing. I found some information here - nothing seems clear and little mention of Turkey!

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-travel-corridors

Travel corridors suspended
Travel corridors will be suspended from 4am on Monday 18 January.

Anyone arriving in the UK after 4am on Monday 18 January will need to self-isolate for 10 days.

You must have proof of a negative coronavirus test to travel to England from 4am on Monday 18 January.

JayFro:

Welcome to TP.

We don't know if Arain12 is a UK citizen and/or travelling from the UK and he/she is anyway asking about what Istanbul itself is like rather than whether he/she can travel there.

Here's the UK FCO advice about Turkey, its entry requirements and its Covid-related situation and laws:

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/turkey

Important note: At present the FCO advises against all but essential travel to Turkey (and the present lockdown bans all but essential international travel anyway). When the FCO advises against all or all but essential travel to a country it automatically invalidates all normal travel/travel health insurance. If you wish to travel to Turkey whilst the FCO is still advising against doing so it is essential that you purchase specific travel & travel health insurance which covers you for doing so. I'm afraid it won't be cheap.
