Hey everyone!

If I handed you €500 now for a week in Spain (in Sept):

1) Where would you go in Spain and why?
2) What you do while you were there?

Can I give you my account number....would be much appreciated

I should go to Andalusia in the very south, its just fantastic there. Cities like Ronda, Sevilla and Granada have mediterranean, African and even Islamic influences. Also the lanscapes are fabulous with mountains, clean white villages and olive orchards. From there its easy to visit Morocco as well.

I think I would just wander around, eat some tapas, drink some sangria. Just relaxing and enjoy the scenery........

Definitely Ronda! I've never seen anything quite so beautiful in my life. A sangria on the terrace of the hotel there, overlooking the gorge... oh, take me with you!

wouterrr mentioned some great cities. You can also stroll around Malaga or take a half-day trip to Gibraltar while you're there. I'd steer clear of Torremolinos and the surrounding area - very touristy, very English-speaking, very crowded at times. Although the beaches are beautiful. And don't forget the food. Mmm....

THanks guys - okay will def bear that in mind.

I have been down along some of the east coast of Spain from Alicante and it wasnt really my thing at all. I cant wait to see other parts of the country.

I was really leaning towards the north initally - Bilbao, Pamplona...etc...but I might change my mind now!

Tway, all you have to do is say yes!

San Sebastien is a great place! The beach is beauuuuuutiful and there are lots of places to party. The town itself is very snall, but everything is pretty cheap there (from food to shopping). It's a good place to spend a few days.
