Hi! I’m a 22 y.o female planning a world trip between January-June 2022. I am graduating college December 2021 and starting law school Fall of 2022 so I have a 6 month gap to do all the traveling I want to do! My plan is to start in the US where I am currently located and travel west to Australia and New Zealand, then make my way over to South East Asia and stay there for a while, China, Japan and then make my way over to Africa and hit Cape Town, then Egypt and Morocco, then make my way to Europe

Do you intend to work in some of these countries to pay for your visit? Not all countries want foreigners taking jobs away from local citizens. Australia and NZ (and other countries) might still have restrictions in place for tourist arrivals. Some countries might require that you remain in a quarantine hotel for awhile to ensure you are not infected. (From what I read this means restricted to hotel premises.)

Keep up with Covid 19 restrictions for travel. My advice is that if you can travel by January is to shorten your wish list of countries to visit. I personally would not book any flights or hotels that are not refundable.

Sounds like a country a week - too quick to see places properly. With six months you can try to see Australia & New Zealand, plus a stop somewhere in South East Asia, to see places properly. Trying to squeeze a further two continents into the time means you won't have much time to see anywhere.

As karazyal says covid is likely to be a problem in that timeframe too.
