>I heard (rumors) that in whole Portugal there are not enough portugal people to handle all complaints filed with TAP.

Rumours mean nothing and are proof of nothing.

>I cant contact with TAP from many days.

That's pretty normal for all airlines at the moment. And, frankly, it isn't in the least bit surprising. Think of how many millions of people have cancelled their flights over the past year or so!

>Insured - this is a key word. Its means that THEY GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

It does not mean that at all. It means you get the terms and conditions attached to the ticket you purchased at the time of purchase. If your ticket terms and conditions stated that the ticket was 'fully-refundable' you'd be entitled to your money back. If they didn't state that the ticket was 'fully-refundable', you aren't entitled to your money back.

>Now they offer me new tickets for 700€ per person.

Of course fares have risen and they'll rise even more. All airlines are struggling to survive the huge losses Covid has caused. Imo, it's foolish to expect airfares to quickly return to pre-Covid levels.

So why not take the voucher for the fare you originally paid? At least you'd get your original money back, even if you have to spend more on the new fare.

After all, you chose to book your September flight knowing that there was a pandemic and now you don't want to fly. Why should TAP take responsibility for that?

Let me make it clear: I do absolutely understand why you are so cross and sympathise with your frustration. You are one of tens...hundreds?..of thousands of people in the same situation. But it is as it is.....

I have bought my tickets to Brazil one year ago. I have insured my flight so I bought a ticket with insurance on flytap.com.
I have tried to rebook them. No option to reschedule the flights.
Following the EU Rule Art. 8 Abs. 1 Lit. a der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 261/2004, I have the right to get my money back, so I do not need to accept a useless voucher!!!
But TAP want to give me only voucher. Dont want to give me my money :(
I tried manage my booking and get refund but I failed :(

Under EU law you are only entitled to get your money back if your flight was cancelled *by the airline*, delayed or you were denied boarding because of overbooking. Cancellation or delay due to 'extraordinary circumstances' are not included.

The WHO declared Covid a pandemic in January 2020.

I cannot access the policy details of the TAP/Chubb insurance but suggest you read them closely. I suspect you'll find that, in common with most travel insurances, you are not entitled to a refund if you choose to cancel your flight without a reason covered by the policy (e.g. your serious illness, death of a close loved one etc).

Quoting Mathevv

The problem is that I have bought tickets from TAP. Before pandemia situation in Brazil has started. Now about 40,000 people die in Brazil every day
TAP is the most powerful crime organization.
They dont want to change my the date of the flight.
They dont want to give me my money back.
The only option is voucher.
This voucher is worth as much as used toilet paper.
There is no contact with them.
Emails, phones, contac forms, links on the site (are hidden) - dont works.
So i will change my trip date for next year but i will lose a lot of money.
TAP will never pay me back for my tickets. People waiting 20 months and nothing.

Sadly that is happening with a big amount of companies within the travel industry no matter whether they are airlines, cruises or hotels

I have question. There is still 5 days quarantine in Paraguay?
I heard from Brazil people in Foz de Ignacu that border is open. But I would like to know that for international tourist the border is open too?
I heard that to cross the border I need only proof of vaccination.

Yes. Foreigners must also complete an online health declaration and have proof of international medical insurance with complete coverage for e.g. Covid, PCR tests etc.

There is no Paraguay embassy or consulate in Poland but you can find the relevant info and links here:

https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/paraguay/entry-requirements

> But I would like to know that for international tourist the border is open too?

The Brazilian consulate in Poland will be able to answer your question:

Brazil is in the top three for infections. You may have a problem visiting other countries or even returning home.

Good luck.

There is no problem go from Brazil to Colombia.
"Travelers who do not have a travel history in India in the past 14 days before travel are allowed to enter Colombia. Please check the documentation, quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling. "
I dont need covid-19 test and there is no quarantine. I am vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine."
From Colombia to Ecuador there is no quarantine and I dont need test. From Ecuador to Peru I dont need test and quarantine.
And I will return from Peru to Europe (Spain, Germany, Austria, France, etc).

This is a good site for findind all those new border crossing rules:
https://canitravel.net/countries/brazil?from=portugal&passport=poland&vaccinated=true
For transit, don't know is that is a general rule, a friend was refused by the airline Mexico > Madrid > Vienna because he had a Antigen test (for Austria) and not a PCR test (for Spain) and his transit time was more then 6 hours. There is no cheap plane between Brasil and Columbia but there is one to Chile ( about to open soon).https://www.skyairline.com/english
Landborder to my knowledge only open at Iguazu/Paraguay.
