Cheap Tickets For Flexible Flyers?

Travel Forums General Talk Cheap Tickets For Flexible Flyers?

I am very flexible as far as travel dates go and I want to make that work for me. I know Travelocity has "flexible dates" and a "fare watcher alert" feature but I can't seem to find an equivalent feature on other sites. Priceline, for example, forces me to go through a tedious process
of elimination in order to find the cheapest departure and return dates.
Is there a site that will let me specify the "from" and "to" cities and
then check ALL the airlines and travel sites for the best fare(s) within a 1-2 month time frame? If not, what other individual sites offer fare watcher alertish features? Do the big travel sites such as priceline, orbitz, travelocity, expedia really have the best deals or are there smaller less publicized sites where I can find better deals?

id be interested in an online service like that too, but i doubt there exists something like that already.

for that kind of information you stilll need a very patent travel agnecy worker, who takes his time to get you the cheapest flight out of the cheapest airfares that can be combined within your possible time of travel.

I have gotten a few trip (just airline, no car rental) off of, Orbitz isn't too bad sometimes, but Travelocity has consistantly given me the best fare.

Also on most of these sites, you can set it up for an email to be sent to you when a destination you choose has particularly low prices. The only problem is you have to register at the site (no credit card needed) Just seems like a few minutes of extra work, but who knows? It could pay off for you!

Good luck! :)
