We ( Dave & Anna) land in Lima half hour before new year and stay in S/A till 31 March. Our first trip,so v excited! Hoping to spend a short while beaching it in Peru before travelling south to chile and across to Patagonia and see what happens then!!

my name is Tyler im 24 and Im going to central america on Feb 6th, flying into Belize City. Spending time on the cayes before going to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and possibly Panama and i leave Mar 23. The first 2 weeks my sister will be with me. A friend of mine who'll be there for 2 weeks by the time i get there will also be travelling parts of CA with me. If anyone is gonna be in any of those areas, let me know and we can all get together for a drink. Generally we plan on doing a lot of hammock action along with some rafting, hot springs, and snorkelling, also thinking about getting our PADI on the bay islands. Get in touch!
Hey everyone! I'll be in Florianopolis, SC Brazil in May. I'll be arriving there on May 9th and staying for exactly four weeks BUT that surely may change! My girlfriend is from there. I'll be on Thatch Caye, off the coast of Dangriga, Belize from the 13th through the 17th of February. I've heard nothing but great things about this eco-island and I can't wait to get there!

Im a first time traveller headin to Central America will be there in Mexico from 20Oct '09 and keen to head over to Cuba & Jamaica, and then head right down to Panama checkin out all the hotspots. Have to fly home before Xmas some time - maybe not so wise to go solo as a young female who's never travelled before so would love to connect up with anyone else keen for some adventures and fun !! cheers.

I'm a 32 year old guy just coming to the end of my year New Zealand trip and will fly to Buenos Aires on the 18th of June. I'll buy a ticket somewhere along the way back to the UK from somewhere in South or Central America but hoping to fly out of Rio after the carnival. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer or coffee along the way or to brush up on Spanish or Portuguese that would be cool.
Or if anyone has any ideas for me along the way that would also be cool. I wouldn't mind doing work for accomodation somewhere or voluntary work (don't really want to pay to do this though). Oh, and is it dangerous to camp in South America?
