It would be helpful if you could tell us where you're from and give us a rough idea of where you've already visited.

A rough idea of your interests (e.g. Clubbing? Historical sights & sites? Watersports? Hiking?) and your budget (Hotels or hostels? Public transport, private tours, drive yourself?) would also be useful....

Why don't you publish all this data supplemented by your hobbies and experiences on your profile here?
Happy trails!

No idea of your interests but you could consider...

Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Albania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Greek islands.... All European countries have good public transport options.

Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle etc etc...... Amtrak have some excellent long-distance rail routes: https://www.amtrak.com/train-routes

Vancouver, Quebec, Montreal....

Jordan....Egypt....

"at the moment" is the key part.

Covid is still making things difficult everywhere.

In normal times, perhaps this summer, I'd say on a limited budget head for Eastern Europe. You've already been to Hungary - it's similarly cheap and interesting in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine. If you like citybreaks I'd suggest any of Kiev, Belgrade, Sofia, all are cheap but with lots of sights and architecture to soak up. If you like the outdoors, maybe the Transylvania region in Romania around Brasov, or in Slovenia (not quite so cheap) there's lots to see around Bled / Lake Bohinj / Triglav national park, and the city Ljubliana is lovely small and interesting.

Top cultural sights? See Venice, Rome and St Petersburg, though none of them are budget friendly. Venice for the wow factor of a city operating without roads, and all of them for architecture and culture.

For an even more alien culture, long-haul is expensive but often cheap once you get there. The usual top destinations are India and Thailand, though there's lots to see in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Laos too. Further east than that tends to get expensive again.

How long do you have? Are we looking for a quick holiday or longer term travel?
