Hiya's,
Whilst travelling around Argentina a few years ago i found myself eating a few asado's and drinking from these big glass bottles of wine (maybe 2 litres+), that seemed to be something of a custom. You held it over your shoulder and tipped it into the glass. Now, back in Australia i am looking for these. Anybody know what i'm talking about?
Thanks and gracias

The sort of flagon-with-a-thumb-loop you mean is not specific to Argentina. They're also called 'demijohns'.
The glass type is often used in home wine-making. Try googling 'wine-making supplies' and you should find an Australian supplier e.g. https://www.australianhomebrewing.com.au/wine-making/bottling/bottles/

Nah. Very little chance of that (unless you make your own wine). Just get an empty one with a proper top (screwtop or whatever), decant a couple of your favourite bottles into it and enjoy!
