Ahoy, mates. Going to do the trip of a lifetime with wife of 36 years. Working on the Travel planner. Have a few questions. Is there a way to save or export the file of map onto my computer? Can I print out the finished map?.
Thanks.
Mike
Around The World in 180 days January 2023 to June 2023
Looks like an amazing trip!
There's an export function on the map view (purple button on the left side) to save any view of it as a PNG image. It's supposed to do this in high resolution, suitable for printing, but that is known to be buggy (personally I can't get it to output higher resolution images than my monitor resolution at all). See Saving png images for official word from Peter (the admin) on this. If you have a high resolution monitor, that buggy behaviour wouldn't matter though, since then all images saved by that system will be suitable for printing.

Thanks Sander. I'm trying to get familiar with the program prior the trip. Planning is halfway done.
Next voyage is 3 months is to the Black Forest and Austria for a wedding. Baby steps first
More Help needed Please.
Preparing for a 180 days world cruise. Want to make 2 identical world maps. Map 1 is just a plain world map. Map 2 is the same size as map 1 but map 2 shows 96 sea ports of the world that we will visit. Those port are connected by a travel line. Object is now to place map 2 under map 1. than move map one from left to right revealing the line of travel of map 2. This will be done by other program. My problem is to make both map in identical sizes, that the cost lines are at the same place. I want to mimic Indiana Jones map sequence.
Thanks for any help

Whoa, that's a long time to spend on a ship! You must really like cruises! It would be interesting to read a report when you get back.
