I feel frustrated and stupid. How do I move pictures from the gallery to a specific blog page,
add pictures from photo gallery to blog
You embed them in a blog post by clicking on the "Picture" icon (the little white-bordered lightblue rectangle) above the textarea in which you write your blog posts. That opens a new window, with all your photos listed. You can then click on "Thumbnail", "Regular" or "Large" next to a photo to insert the code for the photo at that size into the blog entry (at the location of your cursor when you clicked on the icon). That code will look something like this:
[img=https://photos.travellerspoint.com/1062627/Apostles.JPG]
You can try it here in the forum, where the same functionality exists.
Thanks! All I get is the words: (code). No picture or size. what's next?
If, in the text of the blog post that you're writing, you get code like [img=https://photos.travellerspoint.com/1062627/Apostles.JPG], then everything is working. When you publish the blog post, you'll see the photo on the location of that code. You can also hit the "preview" button to already see it working.
(The size of the photo will be included within that code you'll see thumb= or large_ for thumbnail or large, or neither for regular.)
If you literally see "(code)" in your blogpost, then something is going wrong. If that's the case, I need a bit more information to help you. To start: does the popup window with all your photos open?
No pop up. As I recall the word code appears 2x. I'm about to move on.
That is very annoying. I understand your frustration.
Unfortunately I can't reproduce this behaviour. Do you use any extensions in your browser to protect your privacy/enhance your security? One of them might be interfering with the JavaScript needed to open that popup window.
If you could tell us which browser you're using, and if you use any extensions like that, that might help us solve this.
Since I am in Spain, I use a VPN. That shouldn't be an issue but I will try. Have early flight to Naples so might be a day or so.
Thanks
