A problem with messaging the mod(s) is you don't know which of a forum's multiple moderators are active and will be first to see a report. Better, IMO, if the report contains the info you want them to have.

I have reported some posts which were outright illegal! Such as selling passports, drivers licenses, birth certificates, etc. (Something that terrorists or swindlers would benefit from.)

My opinion, choosing "Promotional Post" doesn't seem strong enough!

I agree...and if I were a moderator (never have been anywhere) I think I'd much prefer it that way.

I thought I'd explored the site pretty well but didn't know that page existed until Sander told me about it the other week.

When reviewing the reported posts, these ones are easy. It's only out of curiosity who is making the effort to report things that I glance at the "who" and "why" whilst I'm already reaching for the delete button.
