i get comments that are "Waiting moderation" from people who claim to be Administrators. The last one was from Zoila Trost. I don't think these can be legit as someone who was really an admin wouldn't have comments awaiting moderation. So I delete them. Is this correct?

Yes, that is correct. It's a logical effect from allowing comments by non-users on your blogs - that invites spam and all kinds of attempted scams.
The only (active) admin at travellerspoint is Peter, and any registered member can comment without the comment showing up in your moderation queue.
(Do you still regularly get legitimate comments on your blogs from non-members? If not, it might be worth toggling the setting for "Anyone can comment (not just Travellerspoint members)" back to "no" in your blog settings.)

Most of the time they don't want to log in to make a comment, so they just comment on Facebook. I want them to be able to make a comment here if they want to, and the other comments don't happen very often.
