Hello,
I tried to set up Google Analytics on the Setup page and it seems that the latest Google Analytics IDs are in different format that what the form here expects.
Therefore it does not accept my newly created GA ID. Can you please confirm and help how to include GA?
Thanks,

Good question! It won't work with the new GA4 yet. I'll have to log this as an issue. I'll update the thread when it's been sorted.

Just to bring this up again, is there any plan or expected timeline when Google Analytics will be available? Thank you!

Probably just before the cut-off date for the old Analytics at this rate. So sometime in the next 2 months.

Google Analytics is another tracking system from Google and those concerned about privacy will have already blocked it and those unaware would probably be blocking it if they appreciated the extent of Big Corp collecting their data.

My own privacy systems already block it but those who need it https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

That the forum does not contribute to Big Corp invasion of our privacy is a good thing and reflects well on the forum. It would be a retrograde step to extend the reach of Google in their efforts to collect data about us.

I'm afraid, like most every website out there, we've been using Google Analytics for a very long time. As long as I can remember really.

By all means, people are more than welcome to put in blockers (I use the Brave browser which blocks a lot of tracking as well), but Google's analytics tool is still rather a standard out there so I'm afraid it will remain active on the site for a while to come.
