Itinerary Suggestions

Hi guys. I am traveling to Thailand with my wife for 5 nights/6 days. I am landing in phuket and styaing in krabi for the first night and then 2 nights in koh samui and 2 nights phuket and then return back to India. My interests are a few good sightseeing places and water sports/activities. Can you guys please recommend some good places to see, any good diving/watersport activities in each of these places ?

Day 1: Arrive in Krabi hotel by 3pm.

Day 2: Depart from Krabi to koh samui by car/ferry

Day 3: Koh Samui

Day 4: Depart from koh samui by car/ferry to phuket

Day 5: phuket

Day 6: return back

For koh samui and phuket, came up with the following. Please give your inputs.

Koh samui

1.) Day 1 after arrival from krabi, thinking of atv ride and then exploring other parts of the island. Or also do a night scuba dive ?

2.) Day 2 wanted to do scuba diving. So in a dilemma whether to go to ang thong national park or koh tao/sail rock.

Phuket

1.) Day 1 arrive from koh samui and explore some of the beaches.

2.) Confused whether to do phi phi tour or Phang Nga Bay Sea Cave Canoeing & James Bond Island.

Too many places is my opinion. Every time you move you loose time checking in and out of hotels. Plus time in transit.

I think for Phuket you should spend a couple days there on arrival. Phuket has many things to do. Then choose one other destination to visit and a final night back in Phuket. From Phuket there are day tours you can sign up for in person.

If you want to see more stay longer in Thailand. Or return again since you probably have a short flight compared to flying from N. America or Europe.
