Hi All
I am planning a trip to London by myself soon and I would like any advice about going to the beautiful city.
I am 25 and solo traveling for the first time. I am a huge history fan so will definitely be scheduling the Tower of London and Westminster etc into my trip. I am looking for hotel and transport recommendations as I wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone at night etc. Also, I am looking for recommendations about great markets to go to and restaurants as I would love to experience the vibe London has to offer.
Thanks in advance!

Solo Travelling to London
Hello. Welcome to the forum.
Where are you coming from? Live in the UK or somewhere far away in a different country?
Fortunately you will not have the pitfalls of "Stanley searching for Doctor Livingstone!"
Planning for overseas trips is more simple today with free information on travel forums, in libraries and with simple Google type searches.
You do need to begin with daily budget separate from the cost of transportation from your country to England and return home. Only you know if you will be staying in posh hotels or basic hostels. Or eating in fancy restaurants or a simple fish and chips place.
When you show up will determine the weather you get. You may or may not need warm clothing. Maybe rain gear.
Filling out your profile can help a little. Transportation can be a bus ride from France or a long plane ride from North America. Where you come from may determine if you need a visa.
Edit.
