Introduction

Hi! My name is Clinton Harris and I am a travel writer living in a remote town in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I'm having a heck of a time getting my travel writing off the ground and thought I would join a group of others who might be able to help me see what I'm missing. I've been writing for 20+ years, copywriting for the last 12, and and full-time writing as a career since 2020. I just can't seem to get anyone to respond to a pitch lately, even if it's to say "No thanks." Any help would be appreciated! I feel like I'm going crazy over here.

Persistence . . . keep trying. There are a lot of people doing travel writing right now so you have lots of competition. If you can find a niche, it helps. You are not going crazy. COVID changed the world of work forever.
