Hello,

We are starting a 2 week holiday in Norway on Monday (driving from Karlshamn in Sweden). It's not easy to understand which areas were flooded and which hold a potential risk of being flooded. Could locals advise which areas are not safe to go due to floods and landslides? We didn't have a fixed route, so any advise on go-to places / areas in this situation would be helpful. We are mostly interested in nature: driving, enjoying the views, walking, camping. Thanks a lot in advance!

Dovilė

Hi!

Go through Sweden and North of Norway from Helgeland, up to Lofoten and further up to Tromsø.

The south and west are also safe. Oslo-Kristiansand-Stavanger-Bergen-Ålesund-Trondheim.

But stay away from the mountains and valleys in the east/middle between Oslo and Trondheim.

Have a nice trip!
