Hi everyone, I’m in Ouarzazate in Morocco trying to avoid cliche tourist trails. Has anyone got any good recommendations for experiencing this part of Morocco without the predictable tours?

If you have a car at your disposable, I can recommend the triangle Boumalne Dadès - Tinghir - Agoudal - Boumalne Dadès. Best to arrive in Boumalne Dadès the day before, as it is a full day trip. Agoudal is a really small place, where big cars may have trouble getting through. A significant portion of the triangle is not asphalted (April 2017), but I had no trouble finishing it without a SUV or 4WD.
