I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't spell
Where to travel for one months with a 3 year old.
Thank you, Sander, # 12
Sorry, but could anybody tell me, what was wrong with my deleted post # 15? Maybe the user who reported it? As far as I know I wrote nothing against the rules. I only wrote that in my opinion post # 14 is a well camouflaged advertising.

Not one of the forums I cover so I don't know, but...
Generally once spam has been flagged, that's all that's needed. If members have gone on to engage with the spammer, I'll often delete those posts too, since it is distracting from the original thread and doesn't serve any purpose when the spammer has been removed.
So whoever flagged your post may have been treating it that way.

You quoted the advertising and the company name, thus doing the spammer's work for them.
Though what Andy wrote is also true: It's better not to engage with spammers at all, so we're left with a clean thread after the spam has been removed. I suspect it feels frustrating that you can't report spammers yet (I'd expect you to reach that threshold any month now), but there's enough of us who can, that spam will be reported swiftly enough.
Thank you, Sander. But let me say, it is a bit disappointing and demotivating for me.
I can sympathize (and sometimes I respond to spam as well). And I recall another thread from a month or two ago where the spam was really subtle, but you pointing it out made the difference to get it deleted, and that's very much appreciated.
However, the overall point remains valid. I can only hope that Beckyboo hasn't subscribed to this thread, because so far, she's gotten only a single direct response, and every single other post in this thread has been from spammers, or from people reacting to spammers.
