Hi everyone.

My friends and I are hoping to travel to Oktoberfest this year, but we're having trouble getting accomodation. Are we too late? Any suggestions?

You are late, man.
But its probably only a question of price and distance.

Btw, me and my friends are going too. Booked hotel in january. And we thought that was late..

I lived in Munich for some time, and met Austrialan lads who travelled every day from Austria (approx. 200km) to visit Oktoberfest for one week. This could be a way, but I thought this was a bit crazy to drink a couple of beers.. ;-)

Another way could be to try to rent an appartment for the time you are in Munich. Maybe some landlord is willing to rent out an appartment for a short period. I rented an appartment for my stay (6 month) from Oliver Fendt (Use google to find his address; as e-mail addresses are not allowed on this forum). You'll never know, maybe your lucky.
