I hope someone can help us with a situation we're dealing with.
We need to leave Seville on September 12th and get to Tarifa, but it looks like all the buses are fully booked. Do you have any suggestions for alternative ways to travel there? Thank you!
Maybe take a train to Cadiz (worth visiting on its own), and see about taking a bus from there?

We have booked our train from Seville to Cadiz on the 12th of September, but there doesn't appear to be any buses going from Cadiz to Tarifa.

There are.
Look at the official Spanish bus website (in English):

There are several buses Cadiz>Tarifa each day, with a stop-off in San Fernando (might need to change buses, might be the same bus...ask the driver on the day).
You can book your ticket online in advance if you wish.

Thank you for the information that you have kindly provided. I have clicked on the link suggested and it's only showing me one option for the time and that is departs 9:00am arrives Tarifa 10:25am.
Not sure where you are seeing several buses, I'm wondering if I'm missing something?

As well as the 0900 bus it shows me a 12 noon bus for tomorrow (31st). Perhaps the 12 noon bus doesn't run every day? Weekend services are also likely to be different, especially Sundays.
At least you now know there's a bus option Cadiz > Tarifa! :-)
I think be that September is simply too far ahead for booking a bus? (Though booking a mere month and a half in advance seems like it should be possible!) I tried Thursday 15 and 29 and Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September for Sevilla - Tarifa on movelia.es, each had lots of availability. But Monday 2 or Wednesday 4 or Thursday 5 or 12 September all had none.
