Hey, I'm going to visit Morocco in a few months and wanted to ask if you have any recommendations or must-dos for me
Morroco recommendations
Hi.
Easy free stuff is a quick Google type search. Lots of free info available.
Even this forum has a section with country advice. Click on the "hamburger button" top left where it says MENU. Find Community Travel Guide, find Morocco.

The month you visit will determine weather you get.
- I have been to a couple places but a long time ago. Marrakesh was one place. It was okay.
Up to you!
I haven't been to Morocco myself, but lately I've been doing a lot of analysing of our blog posts and based on so far analysing something like 70,000 blog entries here on Travellerspoint, these are the most popular 5 attractions in Morocco:
1. Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca
2. Hassan Tower, Rabat
3. Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech
4. Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakech
5. Bahia Palace, Marrakech
Aside from Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech, these locations are also popular destinations:
Fes, Tangier, Essaouria, Chefchaouen
Perhaps provide some more ideas around what your are actually hoping to experience in Morocco so people can give a more personal advice.
Thank you for your advice!
Hi:
I have done 3 trips to Morocco:
- Marrakesh and Essaouira
- Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Meknes, etc
. Tanger, Tetuan and Chauen
I think these are the most attractive cities / places. However, I would recommend the visit to some berber towns which are near Fez (Bhalil, Sefrou, etc), as they may offer a different view of the country.
If you need more detail, you can tell me, but it would be necessary that you specify which region of the country you are going to visit.
Regards!
That sounds great! Thank you I will probably get back to you when I have more specific plans
Morocco is such a vibrant country with so much to offer. Be sure to visit Marrakech’s stunning souks and the beautiful Jardin Majorelle.
