We should hate war rather than any specific country.

See the sky,you have said what many Americans think and i applaud you for having the balls to say it.Having returned from a trip to Boston and Arizona visiting relatives I got a strange perception of the way things were over there which kind of reminded me of the situation in Iraq was like.My relatives were against the Iraq invasion because of the total illegality of it all.Not only did the US invade under completely false intelligence and fabricated stories such as the seeking of Uranium products by iraqi officials but the accusations of WMD which weve all heard about.
The thing was my realtives had beenn upset by all the US and iraqi deaths and disagreed with americas invlovement in the war but because of the perception that you are unpatriotic if you disagree with the war they werent openly admitting this or advocating this in public, this lack of freedon to voice their opinon reminded of one of the main reason to go to war in iraq-because of the lack of freedon iraqis had.
I have travlled alot this year and from Australia to Europe and ASia,people had disgust for american policies abroad, people labelled americans because of their president.Having lived in the states for a couple of years and having many friends over there and relatives and knowing that americans are a friendly people and not blood thirsty monsters like they have been portrayed.
Although its hard when we see 50-100k iraqis killed, tens of thousands injured(in an illegal war) and likewise in afghanistan its hard to hold any respect for a country, but we must distinguigh between a President and its counries people.
Its soldiers dont help either with all these so called 'friendly fire' incidents were scores of canadians, british and other soldiers of countries in the 'coalition of the willing' nor does the abuse accusation in abu ghraib and the shooting of unarmer soldiers. We should recognise the thread here is about 'iraqi girl blog' but its hard to read it and not become frustrated with the suffering and misery caused by americas foreign policy.

If you truly disagree with your leaders then leave. There's Canada, Europe, Australia, etc. Back under Communism, travel was restricted. You have the greatest freedome to go anywhere, be anything you want; why not use it?
