Hi guys,

I've been a member for a while now but i didnt even realise this was here. ':('
Sorry...my bad.So officially, hello everybody!! I'm 17 and currently living in Australia, but i joined tp because i'm going over to the UK next year, working in a boarding school in Bath, tutoring kids, coaching sporting teams, helping them in musical and dramatic projects etc. I get all of the school holidays off, which means a few shorter breaks, but pretty much the entire summer, from July to September. I'm looking to spend this time travelling, preferably backpacking (because of budgetary restrictions)around Europe and the UK.

If anyone has reccomendations of places to go, sites to see or any information about Bath i would greatly appreciate it. Also...if anybody is going to be in the area, or wants to come and have an adventure with me let me know... :):) It will be fun!!! PROMISE!!

Hey Elyse!!

Welcome to TP!!! Glad you found the "Hi! I'm ..." forum!

I must say, you're going to have your plate full at the boarding school! Those little holidays (and of course, the big summer one) will allow you a little breathing room.

You will find an enormous amount of information here, and very helpful people. If you can't find answers about something, post a question - someone will have something to say!

Again, welcome and hope to see you in the forums!

Hi Elyse, it's great to hear that you are going to Bath! (I was previously thinking going there but cancelled at last)

Start from Pump Room first and then Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Asembly Rooms, Pulterney Bridge, King's Bath, Great Bath, and do not miss out the ballon journey where you can view Royal Crescent from above! Go and watch the theatre and museums (American Museum and Holburne Museum for instance) and more...

and from Bath you can take bus to Cotswold and I am sure you'll die for it!Hehehe...

Hope to see you around here!Welcome to TP!

With green eyes watching at you,
