We're currently staying in the Hangout Hostel @ Mount Emily. It's really nice, all single beds, no bunks and you get your own locker. We paid AS$21 through STA, and they recommended it.

It's well worth stayin here, it's only a 5 min walk to Little India MRT station (the underground transport system) and the staff are all really nice.

Can't praise the place enough.

Hope that helps x

Hi there,

Try YMCA or YWCA. I have never stayed there myself, but some friends who have told me that they're generally clean (most places in Singapore are clean anyway ;p) and the location is good too!

Both are located near Orchard Road, which is the main shopping area in Singapore.

Hope it helps! ;)

Hi there Karen, if you booked your flight with Singapore airlines you can get pretty cheap 4* hotel for about euro40. Travelfinders in Dawson St. booked it for me.

Whats you route in Asia? I loved Cambodia but some I met hated it..

"A TRAVELLERS REST-STOP" is a nice & clean hostel run by a friendly & helpful couple. It's located in a quiet area in Chinatown, only a few min. walk to MRT interchange station "Outram Park".

It has ensuite double rooms, dorms, and a single room.
