Hey Eefs

Sorry for the late joining for this thread ...I'm a travel helper from Egypt
Regarding the Red sea. Actualy I've tored like 70% of the red sea & Sinai Area ..every place have something special ...If its your first time you find that all the area (Sinai & the Red Sea) is facinating ...for myself i consider the MUST seen places in Sinai are Dahab i rank it #1 .. then Sharm elshaick ..Also 3 places to dive in those places ... Sharks Bay , Blue Hole , Ras Mohamed.

As you are in Eaurop i think there is alot of Cheep flights to Egypt, try those russian flights or Cazuch airlines they have cheep offers ..& never worry about expencess in Sinai its so cheep there ...

Regarding the timing of arrival, as long as you search for the cheepest way i belive that after christmas is the BEST timing as you know in any touristic place prices goes high in christmas season

If there is anything i can help you with just ask

I have dived ras mohamed too on a trip last year if u are looking for a short trip you really can't go past we got 7days in Sharm elsheik including flights and accom for 120 GBP. Was a reasonable place to use as a base and we did a trip up to Cairo to see pyramids and the like. I'm planning to possibly return next year for a longer period of time for more diving.
