Hi Bachi,

I work on an I.T. Helpdesk, unfortunately our company is closing, otherwise I would have given you their contacts! I would suggest before you just turn up in the UK & 'take a chance' look into it alot more before you arrive.

First of all get registered with as many I.T. recruitment agencies as you can as they can help you, give you good advice & best of all will look for work for you. Hays Information Technology are a good company to start with, their web address is

I would say there are alot of great I.T. jobs about & most are well paid, as long as you have good experience which it looks as if you already have or good qualifications, you should'nt find it too difficult to get a job.

Hope this helps!

Hi Bachi,
General advice is to try to have a job placement or job offer before getting to the UK.
Check with the UK Embassy about all the things you need to have in place, before you leave, for after you arrive here and then your plans for when you are returning home; things like a bank account at home etc.
That is important, immigration officers will check closely that your intentions are to work for the two years and then return home.
If you have not already been browsing the internet a search for "IT jobs UK" will bring loads of sites to check out.
When are you planning to be in the UK?
