Just wondering what everyone has found to be the best airline to fly from Australia to Cuba on and what the rough estimates of cost are.

I'd love to know if its within my budget, and any input would be greatly appreciated.

You could check with Goldman Travel (Travel agency in Australia) which has organized/sent a number of visitors from Australia to here.

My wife and I did a RTW starting late January 2005, and flew Lima to Havana to Cancun as a side trip.
Perhaps you could do Oz-Santiago-Lima-Havana.
The only other way I can think of would be Oz-Hawaii-Mexico-Havana.
I could look for the flight prices we paid for Lima-Havana-Cancun if that would help.

I am australian and I have just returned from a 3 month vacation from Central and South America.

I travelled to Cuba for 3 weeks as part of this trip, but booked my Cuba leg of travel from buenos Aires in Argentina.

I flew on Copa airlines from Buenos Aires to Havana return via Panama city. Check on the Copa airlines website for cheap fares to Havana from north, south or central america. They are a very laid-back airline with excellent in-flight service and their air fares are usually very reasonable. I would definitely fly with them again.

hope this helps.;)
