Just wondering if one week is enough time to get a job in Whistler? I will be getting there November 26th and have booked accommodation for one week, after that i am hoping that i will have a job and therefore have staff housing which is cheaper. Do you know how hard it is to actually get a job (as I would have missed the job recruitment fair)?
Thanks,
Alex :-)

I spose it would depend a bit on your experience...., but I think if you try hard you should find something! If not just come to Alberta and you'll be working that day!!!

Dude, there's loads of resorts to go to. Yeah Whistler is a cool place to go to and yes it's possible to find a job within a week if you have experience in a certain field. i.e. waitoring, ski-instructing. If you can't find something within a week try some other resorts. Last year Whistler didn't have any snow till the end of January. Almost all resorts in Canada had loads of rain. If you go for the party and or the park Banff is a good place to head out to either. Anyways if you want to get a better insight in the Canadian resorts check my website www.mountainseasoners.com and go to resorts. Added articles about the mountains Banff Norquay, Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Kicking Horse. Whole list of phonenumbers for accom in Banff. If you have any questions about a season in a resort you can always send me a pm dude. Have done 4 now gonna go for my 5th in Austria in about 4 weeks.

If you do not already have a job, "come to Alberta and you'll be working that day!!!" I am from Alberta and one cannot take two steps with out seeing atleast one if not five or six sign saying "now hiring". If you are just looking for A job you will find one, and I don't knwo much about ones at ski resort, but you are quaified i am sure you will do alright.
