I would like to have testemonials about the beneficts of usisng digital or analogic cameras during long trips.

I would say Digital has my preference on a trip.

here are some of my reasons

- No problems with xray at airports and film
- No limts on the amount of pictures you can take (basicly free)
- You can see a impression of you shot ok it will never look great on those small lcd's but it's better then waiting till your pictures get developt.
- I like the smaller size chip compaired to a normal film SLR so that means less heavy lenses for pictures that need a lot of zoom.

During long trips and always, digital. It seems we will have no other choice as the analog manufacturers are quiting from films.

Long trips, it's got to be digital nowdays.
Convenience is the big key, not need to take 50 rolls of film with you. just spare memory cards (which hole a lot more than 24 or 36 shots).
You can delete all the ones you don't want.
Although a £10 35mm camera will take as good a shot as a £200+ digital camera.
The nails are getting banged into the 35mm film cameras, it won't be too long before only the purests are using it.
