Hi! I am leaving for Ireland Nov 11 and staying for about a week. I was hoping to travel to Germany and was wondering where a good place to stay on a budget is, any recommendations?

Hi lovelee,

if you haven´t been to Berlin yet, it´s a must to go .
There are daily, reasonably cheap flights leaving from Dublin and if you need any specific info about the city let me know.

I'm also happy to help out with info on Berlin, if you're intending to go. I can recommend some great hostels - with photos - and can point you towards some good sites if you pm me.

Winter is actually a good time to be in Germany, as long as it is fairly dry. Berlin has got a lot happening at the moment, especially around Potsdamerplatz. If you're into photography, I can also tell you what you need to see and why e.g. Pergamon Museum and Treptower Park.

Hope I can help.

i've stayed at Hotel Wiesbaden recently. it was good and quite cheap. it's right infront of their main railway station.

you should try if you are going to frankfurt.

I was in Berlin just last week and stayed at The Circus hostel. It is the best hostel I have EVER stayed in! Very clean, the staff is really nice, and it is reasonably priced. I recommend it highly! I hope this helps.
