Will be going to Bangkok in February 2006 and was looking for accomodations. We were thinking of considering two of the hotels:
1) Asia Bangkok Hotel
2) Twin Tower Hotel

Which of these two do you think is better in terms of comfortability, location and cleaniness??

I usually stay down the Khao San Rd area when I am passing through Bangkok as its the travellers area and you can sit outside cafes and watch the whole travellers world walk happy and smiling by!,plus its cheap and near lots of tourist sites in Bangkok.
The secret of booking hotels/hostels is just book one/two nights and if you dont like it just move on.
Sorry I cannot help you more, enjoy your Bangkok stay.

I would stay in the Siam or Sukhumvit area. The Skytrain services that part of Bangkok. The Skytrain can quickly connect you to most of the popular areas of Bangkok, this is very helpful during the rush hour.

The Skytrain does not reach the KSR area.

The Twin Tower Hotel is much better but the location is a little bit far away from the tourist area. Anyway, it will take u about 3-5 mins to walk to get a bus or about 15 mins. walk to the sky train terminus.
Have a nice day!
