First of all, yes, i'm Spanish, and pretty upset....

I'm going to tell you something...

Like when you go to the supermarkets, you wait your Q.If someone 'extra' goes in front of you, it pisses you off, and don't tell me no, because most of the times it happens when you are in a hurry.... and in big cities, everybody is in a hurry...

If the guy says that you have to change the ticket, you change, that their rules, and even if i hate it too, everybody has to do it, just imagine 200 people do it in the same train,..... well good luck for the transit officer...... you should think that you are lucky and didn't have to pay anything.... and of course when we are in a hurry... it looks like THEY TAKE LONGER TO ATTEND YOU!!

And about the luggage.. i don't know the way you look, but if i see someone young.... in a public transport, TOUCHING MY BAG...... at least try to ask.... even in english, i'm pretty sure that as soon as you point the item...this person would at least look at you....

And the last thing... i am pretty sure you just didn't stay in Spain this 3 days..... that will be very unlucky...

Sorry for my english, it's not perfect, but i tried...

I hope you don't take in the wrong way....

Relax an dhave a good time.... and think that that's the least BAD things that it can happen ... when you are travelling.... just go with the flow...... and have fun.....

Hola Naracola

Our sentiments are at par and I am not a Spaniard.
You were right to express your feelings and have done so
correctly, to the point and without frills.
Well done.... credits to your parents to have brought you
up to be a very fine and respectful person.
They must be very proud of you.

Wealth is not we have but what we are.

A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle.

Just wanted to say, I liked Spain overall...but Barcelona is one of my favorite cities bar none. I hear a lot of travelers who either had bad experiences or simply didn't enjoy Barca, which confounds me beyond belief. As for the Spanish people, I didn't have any problems to speak of and actually met some brilliant people out clubbing so seems you just had an unlucky experience. C'est la vie neh?

Spain is really a rich country to visit, but in terms of tourism they have a lot to learn.
And in that point I can tell that the little country next to it has a lot to teach - yes i'm speaking of Portugal! We have a lot of burocracies but we open our arms to all who visit us.And I don't tell this just because I live here.
