How about "The Motorcycle Diaries"? explores the journey Che Guevara took across South America (I think). Or for a bit of a laugh, maybe Eurotrip?

I heard the other day on the tele that they are making a Back to The Future 4, think Fox is going to play the old guy in this one. Nothing you can watch right now but just thought i would put it out there.
Another good time travel, ultimate traveller movie, The Time Machine with Guy Pearce.
Well for me I loved the Crocodile Hunter:Collision course.
It's Steve Irwin's moviedebut (Steve Irwin is the aussie crocodile hunter).Heaps of great scenes from Australian outback and get to laugh a bit too.Great movie!

Empire of the Sun
Roman Holiday (Gregory Peck is just so yummy)
Out of Africa
Lost in Translation
An American Werewolf in London
Can't believe no one mentioned "The Endless Summer".
Best trip movie ever made.
Two words: Easy Rider.
Classic.
i loved eurotrip, pretty darn funny!
Theres a Kiwi movie called "Kombi Nation" that follows a group of Kiwis/Ozzies backpacking through Europe. (I think) It was a while ago I saw it, but if you can find it where you are goodluck, might give some inspiration :P
How about Before Sunrise & Before Sunset? (Vienna & Paris) I love those movies. Anyone seen them?
Another TV series I love most is Star Trek Voyager, all 7 seasons where they are trying to find their way back home. Once you get hooked on it, believe me, you want to travel with the crew forever.
