Hi Jassa,

I have compiled a whole list of budget accommodation in and around Old Kuala Lumpur – Chinatown, Little India and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (TAR)...I have classfied them into five classes:

5 'Bargain Basement' - "Basic with some at a cost to privacy"
4 'Value for Money' - "Small independent hotels with a few gems carrying a single star or two"
3 'Tourist' - "Watch those tour-parties compare cameras in the lobby"
2 'Executive' - "Get those wheels on your Samsonite oiled and dream of all those Frequent Flyer points you could earn"
1 'Pure Indulgence' - "Its no mistake that this city's airport code also says 'KUL'"

The list also gives details, location, proximity,etc....if you,or any TP members are interested, send me a PM...i also have compiled accommodation in brickfields, damansara, bangsar, golden triangle, subang jaya and Klang...

Hi Jass,

From your previous posts, I presume that you're coming by bus from Singapore.

Since busses from Singapore terminates at around the Bukit Bintang area, I think it's best that you pick the Agora hotel at Jalan Bukit Bintang (Jalan=Road).

Which bus will you be on, anyway?
