Ok, we got a quote for flights, london-bangkok-singapore-bali-new zealand-fiji-oz
How much would you take for this trip? We were thinking £5,000, plus working in OZ.
Also, has anyone been to Fiji in November? Hear its beginning of rainy season, but how bad is the rain? Would you recommend going then or not?

I think TJ will live like a king on that amount for only 2 months. But it all depends on what you want to do when away. I know a friend a friend who spent 12k in 6 months. God knows what they spent it on but i guess its possible if you live in the lap of luxery and get pissed every night. There is always expensive things to do and see.
I guess if your working in Oz then you'll be there for most the time and the work should cover the living expenses and give a little extra to save. Of the people i know who have gone travelling they tended to say around 1k per month is needed for everything and you should have a pretty good time (not scrimping and saving). I hope they are right coz thats what i've budgeted for.
It depends how you want to live out there. live like a monk you will spend hardly anything. Do every activity possible and drink every night then you'll spend a fortune.
