Can anyone help me- most of the agencies online are in Portuguese and Im finding it very difficult to get information I can understand.
We want to travel to see the Pantanal in May, coming from Bolivia. We would like to visit Bonito and other places and see wildlife and everything rthe area has to offer.
Can anyone recommend a tour group or agency or just general information about how to get there and where to go???? We have about a week to spend there before heading to Iguacu.
We are on a budget so would prefer it to be affordable and not in a big group if possible.
Thanks for your help!!

Also, is it possible to get from maybe Campo Grande or Bonito to Iguacu direct? Fly or bus?

From Campo Grande there really is only one tour operator to use and thats ecological expeditions, they're linked with the Hostelling international group, basically, there are lots of tour operators working from Campo Grande but i'ts all pretty cut throat and all the best tour guides have migrated to ecological expeditions!, unfortunately, this does mean doing the "thing" you know other tourists etc, but they have a nice program and they know where to find the wildlife, when I was there they had found a 2m female python, an armadillo and we followed 2 giant anteaters on horseback!! awesome.

Ecological expeditions also do trips for Bonito that go straight on from the tour in the Panatanal if you like.

It is possible to get a bus to Iguacu (I think its somewhere between 8-12hrs)

I'll message you the ecological expedition contact details, make sure (If you decide to use them) that you try to negotiate a price if you pre-pay because they generally knock on a few dollars to people pre-booking

good luck, you'll have an amazing time whatever you do!
