I want to know about buses from Santiago to Mendoza. What bus companies are the best? I'm planning to go in May, is it a good season? (not interested in ski, snow, justto know the cities and visit wineries, specially in Mendoza)ยจ

The harvest is in March in Mendoza, so you'll probaly get a bit disappointed if you show up in May.
There's several busservices from Santiago to Mendoza, and it's quite difficult to find a bad company. Generally is the busservices in Argentina and Chile of a really high standard. If you want to pay a little extra just take the "full cama" there will get served dinner and sleeping as it was like home.
One of the really good wineries is Lagarde about 12 kilometer outside Mendoza. Maria guides you through really nice wines
