I am right now in BKK, Thailand.
My plan is to book a ticket to go to Koh Phangang in 3 days. 'Cause I wanna go go the fullmoonparty on the 14th. Does anybodu has any tips to give.. maybe where to stay an so on. It would be great..! or maybe are you also going?

Hey!If you havent booked your bus tickets yet, I would reccomend getting them from the little travel centre inside the Siam Oriental Inn...the prices are pretty reasonable and I found them to be really reliable compared to other places i booked stuff through!On Koh Pha Ngan I stayed at the Seabreeze Bunglows, a little stroll away from right in the middle of the action so your stuff will be safer during the full Moon as there are a lot of break ins around there!Also we found a lot of places totally raised their prices during the run up to the full moon and this place stayed reasonably priced plus it was nice and we had a nice little balcony with a hammock!!!!

This is a great place and i am sure ur gonna love it. I'm going to KP on the 10th of this month for the FMP. Though i lived in Thailand for 3 years, just cant get enough of it. I'm back travelling this exotic place.
For accomodation on KP, try living on the sunset beach on Had Rin. This is because it is little quite and relaxing than the Sunrise beach (where the FMP takes place)and the best thing is that it is just walking distance from the FMP. I somehow feel that the Sunrise beach is too noisy and crowded, and the prices are also too high, and there is no privacy there. Whereas for the Sunset beach its quite, tranquil, and pleasant and the prices are fair and just 2 minutes walking from the Sunrise beach (i guess we need that much exercise everyday).
It would be great to meet up for a beer or two!
