I miss traditional Turkish breakfast (sorry, not so much the chai), and the prayers over the loudspeakers...
-the one dollar Imperial Costa Rican beer, and the feel of the sun while lying on the beach drinking it...
-the Greek salads and the island beaches there, too.
-I miss waking up and knowing work is thousands of miles away, if I even think of it.

Oh I love this post!!I miss so many things, sometimes I totally crave the things I fell so much in Love with!!!
Lycee and Paw Paw Martini from the Hudson Hotel, NY.
New York 99c Pizza.
Exquisite Ice Cream from Coldstone, Los Angeles.
Fanta Grape from Japan!!Yum love it so much, it tastes like sherbert!
Almond and Pistacio biscuits from Italy!
Street Padthai in Bangkok
Rotee with mars bar and banana, Thailand.
Sangria in Barcelona!
The most fabulous Vegetarian Moussaka from this teeny tiny family run restaurant up at the top of a hill in Corfu, Greece!
100 yen stores in Tokyo
My favorite cute little teahouse with the little old man who sits chopping onions in Kyoto!
Sitting in a pavement cafe in Paris....
These are the individual things that I miss but mostly I miss, being somewhere new, having new and exciting experiences everyday of my life, meeting all different people from all walks of life...I miss tending to mosquito bites, having sand beneath my feet and I miss the sunshine!

I'm Australian, my boyfriend is swiss. When i am overseas i miss the wide open spaces, most places i've been are very claustrophobic in comparison, i miss the aussie "who gives a fuck"attitude and i miss the multiculturalism and the great choice of food that goes with it. When i'm home though i miss my boyfriend, his strange european ways, i miss moving to a new place every week and meeting new people, i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, no matter where i go - home or abroad i miss something. when i die i want them to bury me in the cemetary 2 streets from the hospital i was born in but until then i'll be in limbo following the one i love around this amazing planet

I miss fresh, cheap seafood, which I made the most of in Asia! I look around in our depressing supermarkets in the UK & think it's just not the same, so I don't bother buying it.

The weather is probably what I miss the most, even though it was humid at times. You can't beat walking around at night time, not having to worry whether you'll need an extra layer in case it gets cold!

I miss swimming in the sea :o( I miss beer Lao, I miss fresh spring rolls from Bangkok street stalls. Now I wish I never answered this thread, I could go on all night......

Now that I'm back from Asia, what do I do?

When I'm at home in Germany I miss in no particular order:

thick delicious fruit smoothies
inexpensive and fresh sushi
Caesar Salad
the ocean
not having to deal with day-to-day life ;)
