I'm going to Bankok on 18 April. Any suggestion for good restaurant? I'm traveling alone, expect something local, delicious and reasonable price.
I forgot to mention that many malls have "FOOD COURTS" that are basicly for employees and Thai's to eat at at without paying higher Farang prices.
At a food court you will have an opportunity to sample different types of Thai foods at a low price. I think there is more sanitation there than on the street. I am particularly partial to the boiled pork with vegies and rice dishes - you get a lot for a measly price of around 25 to 40 baht, less than one U.S. dollar. Very filling!
I do believe that Thailand has better sanitation than Cambodia, Vietnam, or Laos.

You can try to good food and not much expensive from the Food Court in Department Store like Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, The emporium, The Mall, Robinson, Central Department Store, etc. These kind of food court is good because they select the well-known delicious food store from the original place to open in mall.

Why is everyone banging on about food courts? The food at these places aren't all that nice
I enjoyed the food at restaurants/stalls on Sukhumvit Road, and also the silk restuarant and bar on khosan Rd, the crispy pork there is the best I've ever tasted. Oh and if you get a chance try the thai curried crab, from a chinese/thai restuarant on Sukhumvit Road, forgot what it's called...
