I will be travelling to Barcelona next july, and I just don't know what hostel to choose!!! I heard good things about the Kabul Youth Hostel, but there is no guest kitchen and that is important for me since I am travelling on a budget. I also want a party hostel, I like when there is a bar in the hostel! Please, can anyone share his or her experience in barcelona and recommend me a hostel in Barcelona please!!! The most centrally located if possible!!!
Thank you very much!!!

Patience is key with qustions like this, it's best to wait until someone stumbles across the thread who can help :)

Have you notified the travel helpers??

Have you looked at the accomodation section on the panal at the top of the screen?

Good luck and happy travelling!, Barcelona's supposed to be awesome

I mentioned it in another thread about Barcelona hostels (I think the search-function of this forum would reveal a lot about lodging in Barcelona) : we stayed at a lovely hostel in Barcelona last year. It's called "Itaca hostel" ( and it's clean, there's a nice kitchen and we felt safe and at home. There's a common living room and little bar in the hostel, but it's not a bar where you can sit until late at night I think (the hostel makes great efforts to keep the place quiet at night to give a good night rest to those who want to sleep). Besides, why would you want to do that ? You would be in Barcelona, which is a very lively city especially in the evenings and nights.
It's located right in the heart of Barcelona, just a few minutes from the Ramblas, 15 min from the harbour, near public transportation etc.
I would definitely recommend it.

I'm not linked in any way to this hostel, I just enjoyed staying there.

ive never been to barcelona, but some friends told me that:

the kabul youth hostel was not really clean

there is some other youth hostel, where the staff is dumb, and its somewhere on a hill where you have to walk up. BUT you have a nice view over the city, it's very clean and you have to pay only 11 Euro/ night, breakfast is included (croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, juice)
if you want to know the name, contact me, 'cause i don't know it right now.
