are u lookin for pubs or clubs
I can recommend for pubs the Foggy Dew in temple bar or if ur interested in local pubs, try The Celts Pub in the north end, no one really knows about it and its just locals and great local music every night. its kinda hard to find tho.

hey, i reckon you should try steer clear of temple bar unless you go to the pubs there during the day. i like the club, riras off dame st as it has a good selection of music and a good pub called the globe. there are some good pubs on georges st, if you just ask anyone they'll point you in the right direction.

STAY AWAY FROM TEMPLE BAR! That's where all the tourists go.
My fav spots are Doyles and Whelans. Doyles is a great laugh on a Saturday night. I hear Antics in Crawdaddy is good too.

I agree, stay away from Temple bar for pubs and clubs. It's a nice area to walk around during the day.I think it's a bit passe.Dubliners don't really head to there for nights out.
Georges street, Dame Street and Harcourt Street are the main areas that you'll find the best bars, cafes and clubs.Nassau Street has a few classy cafe/bars where all the fashionable and trendy people go-go for a pint in Cafe en Seine and in Samsara-they're close to Trinity College.
Whelans and Doyles are instiutions in themselves in Dublin.Bothare very sudenty and there's live music in Whelans.
I think Mcgowans in Phibsborough is a great place to spend a night-it's a really lively pub with a mainly young clientele.
