hi everyone
i have been looking into hostel options for my upcoming trip to europe - 4 days in Paris. i was in Paris years ago and remember that the montmatre/sacre coeur area was rather sketchy at night and it was not recommended that travellers, especially young women, go out alone at night here.
however most of the hostels i have come across have been located in this neighbourhood. can anyone give me any feedback on this area? has anyone stayed here? how was the safety?
any and all suggestions on hostels in Paris would be great.
