Is it possible from Spain to Morocco and how much?
Is it possible from Spain to Morocco and how much?
I remember seeing boat crossings from the south of Spain (say, around Marbella) to Morocco. In fact, there were tour agencies offering one-day trips from Torremolinos to Morocco, so I'd guess it's a pretty common trip. I couldn't tell you how much, though. There must be some reliable sites out there that could help!
Thank you very much. I will tray to feel spirit of Africa.
transmediteranian run the ferrys i pais 270 euro as a foot passenger
there's a ferry port at Tangers in Morrocco - the crossin is somewhere in Spouthern Spain
Algeciras to Tanger is around 60 EUR return as a foot passenger on the fast ferry with Nautas.
see www.ferryto.com
There are numerous options.
Some of the common options are:
You can either go Algercias to Tangier (the most common route)
Algercias to Ceuta (which is the spanish enclave in Morocco)
or Tarifa (spain) to Tangier
The quickest is Algercias to Tangier its around 25euro each way
A nicer route is Tarifa to Tangier, Tarifa is much nicer than Algercias and the ferry is very quick from here.
Be prepared arriving in Tangier, the touts are very confronting!
At the time I was there, Ceuta was a no go due to imigrants trying to break through the border into Spain, I am not sure if this has changed.
Good luck
The most common option is to do Algeciras - Tanger.

You can book tickets online through the ferry line web page (available in English) ==> http://www.trasmediterranea.es/index.asp?section=home&lang=UK
Hope it helps!!!
