I can't see any team outside the big favorites winning it all.

WHO WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP!!!
After tonight.. Ghana 
The Ghana - Czech game was great! Go Ghana - oh, wait - they play the US next.... Go USA!!!! I was pleased with the Ghana win. But, I have to root for the home team in the next round... (And, we got screwed on a couple of calls! A draw with 10 Italians vs. 9 Americans - I can't complain!)
I still say USA!!! (Call me an optimist...)
I just want you to know that TP has turned me into a soccer fan... 
That was a great performance by the US last night! After their defeat to Czech Republic, it was somewhat unexpected, but really they did look the better team against Italy which is very impressive! All up, it was probably the best day of action in the World Cup so far 
Of course I will have to say the Netherlands!! Although we had two very slim wins, it was against two very strong sides (Ivory Coast played this years Africa Nations Cup final - and lost it).
France and Italy have been disappointing until now, and Spain and England's games didn't really appeal to me. If the best playing side should win: let it be Ghana! What a great game they played against the Czechs!
As a real Dutchman every team but Germany would suit me as a winner...so I still hope for a final between Germany and Holland. And this time, I hope WE win, to get rid of teh haunting ghost of that dreadful final (In Germany) against West-Germany in '74.
(Note that 'we' have a good history playing on German soil: '74 WC final, and in '88 we won the European Cup in Germany) 
Actually, I would prefer if not one of the obvious (Brazil, Germany, Spain, France, italy, Argentina) would win, but an outsider - like Ghana - or one of the less obvious favourites (Netherlands, England, Sweden, Portugal).
What money concerns, I drew Switzerland in the office...so I'll probably just lose money this World Cup.
Luckily, until now I had the pleasure of celebrating two victories for my team, let's hope i can add a third one this wednesday, when we play Argentina. I know the had a crushin win over the Serbs (6-0), but I just hope they used all their energy there, or became over-selfconfident... Either way, Holland is already through to the last 16. But I'd prefer it to be with 3 wins...

Just got back from watching the two first Dutch games in Holland... fantastic to see that we're already through!! So unlike the Dutch team normally
I'm sticking with the Dutch: HUP HOLLAND HUP!!!
Having said that, I hope Ghana goes far. Fantastic stuff. France and Italy should be disqualified for playing terrible football if you ask me..... utterly disappointing. Shame about the ozzies yesterday, they deserved a point against a lack luster Brazil. But they still have a good chance seeing that Croatia played terribly yesterday as well!
Well, Australia isn't dead yet!!! And, they played a great game!! South Korea looked weak to begin with, but they got better. I root for the underdogs, and since France decided playing dirty was the way to go after awhile, they are done in my mind anyway. I really want to support Ghana just because, but they play the US next... Gotta go with the US in that game. There have been some interesting upsets so far...
