I've always wanted to visit Prague so I am planning a trip this November. Does anyone know any cheap but nice places to stay? What are the hostels like?

Thank you*

That site seems to just be hotels. I think Amelie was looking at hostels. I am too for july if anyone has any suggestions...

last year I stayed in Hostel Traveller`s Dlouha . It is good hostel in the centre of Prague and from there everything is available by foot. Or check out for hotel bookings - from the list of hotels, pensions or hostels you certainly find inexpensive accommodation.

Have a great time!

Cheap is relative. The cheapest I'd normally do in Prague is about 40-45 GBP for a double with private bath and thats pension merlin on Gorazdova. Fairly central, with a reasonable tram/ metro link. Although in November you could possibly get a reasonable deal on a hotel.

Hey!well i just got home yesterday from a month travelling around eastern europe and while in Prague we stayed in Emma Hostel which I'd def reccommend,me and my friends were the first people to check in there as it only opened the day we got there so everything is fairly new there,it worked out at 708czk for 2 nights which is about 12 euro per night and that includes breakfast(well u get a bread roll!),it doesn't have a kitchen so u'll have to eat out but there is a microwave and a fridge,it's in a good location near Charles Bridge and is walking distance from the the night club with 5 floors which I can't rem name of but u should def go to,there's plenty of internet cafes shops and restaurants nearby and the newer part of the city is only a short distance on the metro and tram lines.Hope this helps u and have a great time,it's a great city!
