It depends on the country, and of course on the year for the amount of snow, but november-april can give u an idea to planify your beginning.

But in Europe it´s also possible to ski in some places during summer time, for example in Tignes, France, where there is a glacier, though i wouldn´t recommend you to start there.

About nightlife and skiing i don´t know at all, during ski season i concentrate on skiing and use nights to sleep :)

You are talking about the after-ski parties, I presume. Austria is famous for them. Don't worry, the village might look small but the party at the Hüttn won't be dull.

Wintersports is a big industry in Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Austria, Switzerland and the Dolomites in Italy. Austria, Switzerland and Italy is the most professional, catering to all ages and all levels as well as having the best parties - for a price. Czech Republic and Bulgaria are cheaper. Spindleruv Mlyn is a famous ski resort in Czech Republic.

Andorra go Andorra

It´s in the middle of the pyrenees between france and Spain. The season starts on the first week end of december and finish a week after easter.
The best time to come it´s january as you are nearly sure to good snow and only few people as there is no holiday.

Very good night life especially in Pas de la casa, Soldeu and Arinsal.
